About Mashel Trade

Mashel Trade is named after a Nisqually village. Mashel is where the Mashel River joins the Nisqually River. The Mashel River and Nisqually River are fed by təqʷuʔməʔ .  She is the mother of all rivers, settlers call her Mt. Rainier.  

Mashel Trade's logo acknowledges təqʷuʔməʔ with a woman wearing a cedar hat over the three peaks of the volcano.
